Not necessarily.

I didn't psyche through the timing here but the Federal Government has restrictions on what model year a vehicle can be labeled.

The '71 GT-37 fell into that same category and as a result there were 50 cars built and designated "70 and a half" model year vehicles.

When we did the 2002 Escalade we started production on Jan 2, 2001 for an early introduction and ran through the normal timing of fall of 2002. The restriction that drove that was that we could only have "one Jan 1" within a given model year.
