Back in the early 80's when I was restoring a 70 Hemi Challenger, I needed a radiator (p/n 2998956, I still remember that!) to replace the original which had gone missing. Found one up in Grand Rapids MI and I drove up there to get it. Guy selling it told me it came out of a Panther Pink 70 Cuda 440-6 convertible that he PARTED OUT! Even back then I thought wow, that's gotta be a rare car.

If it was a lifetime Midwest salt car, it was probably rusted beyond help and there wasn't parts available. I parted and had crushed a number of first gen Camaro's and Chevelle's in MN that were beyond help in the late 70's... ![]()
