I don't have any memorabilia Dan but I go through Mount Pleasant once a month or so for work so if you send me the original address I'll swing by there to see what's left and get a few pictures for you.

No problem Dan, always look forward to helping another car guy out. I'm not super familiar with Mount Pleasant but my contact at the school has been there forever so I'm sure he'll be able to point me in the right direction when I'm over there in August. Once I know more I'll be in touch. Can't wait to see the L89 come together, what a car!

Sent you a PM Dan. Got quite a bit of info for you and pics of the old Shafer Motors location in Mount Pleasant. The building has been vacant since 2007 but the old guy who bought the dealership from Shafer's in 1972 let me into the showroom to take pics for you.
