Coker Wide Oval Redline Radial
Anyone have any experience with these? Need to replace the 12 year old bias plys on the 67 Camaro and would prefer a radial. Thanks!

I just made a Nice Muscle car Bainbridge Isl Wa Cruz with Friends about 80 miles on Brand New Coker Firestone Super Sport Wide Oval Red Line FR70-14's. I found since I purchased my SS396 in 1983 I have had Bia's Ply tires continuously and am VERY please with the Ride and Performance and Look of this Current Tire. I have enjoyed the Compliant Ride and Confidence of my New tires which is Now offering a Driving experience that I have not encountered with the previous tires used; Vintage 70' Super sports & Pos-a-traction Torque Sixty's, BF Goodrich Silvertown Redlines, Firestone Wide Oval Redlines. I am Very Glad I can drive and enjoy the car like I have not in the past, Well, I mean driving confidence. The (Cosmetic-Appearance) Compromise is OK for a Red line tire, since the Redline is now raised vie recessed, which in my mind is minor & cosmetic most bystander will not tell much different. The Center tread sure looks Bias like and the shoulder is not too rounded. Great Tire.
Buy with Pride for a Car that should be driven. Totally Different Story on my 69 Pacer; Kelsey G.Y. Wide Tread F70-14's till Death!

I have the FR70-14's red lines on my 67 Chevelle for 3 years. Very happy with them. Like said above the red line is raised.

Was on their website yesterday and the FR70-14 are out of stock right now.
Must be a popular seller!

Mark,
I have them on my 67 Corvette right now and love them. I'm going to buying a set for my 71 TA when they are back in stock if that tells you anything Tim |

Thanks guys! I too wish the red line was recessed, but the tread profile of the tire does look really good. I think I’ll get a set in the Spring. Appreciate you taking the time to comment!

I put them on my recently acquired '65 GTO survivor. I'm very happy with them, ride is great. One very nice feature is that they didn't require any cleanup when unwrapped & installed.

Wish the redline was thinner.

The redline is backwards too... raised instead of recessed. I'll stick with the bias plys.
