The first picture is looking towards Yavapai Point.
By the way, the Grand Canyon is at 6800 feet elevation-is over a mile deep and the other side (North Rim) is at least 18 miles away in most places. These pictures are from Yavapai Point! The first pic you can see the Colorado again in the center.... Holly (and Lynn) enjoying the view from afar
