They didn't. I believe the ones that had AC got the hydraulic cam 390hp 427 that was relabeled 410 HP.

this was something I tried to research years ago but it was difficult to collect the data needed on the 68's.
I believe the 1968 Yenko COPO 9737 Camaros were all L78 4 speed cars so a 1968 Yenko Camaro with AT or AC would have to be built from an SS RPO L34 or L35 Camaro The L34 L35 short block would be swapped for a L36 short block There was one 1968 Yenko non-COPO 9737 that was said to have a 140 speedo but I don't know if that was done by Chevy or added to the car by Yenko or someone else |
