Beautiful car.
Just curious, why does this car have a open element air cleaner and not the l72 4 speed air cleaner? Is it because its a Biscayne and not a ss427 impala? Last edited by dvss1; 05-05-2020 at 03:25 AM. |

I believe all 1968-69 L72 were open element air cleaners. The 1965-66 L72 B-Body had the dual snorkel closed element.

Yes, that is the original correct carb, 4053 DZ. Same as the 1968 302 Z28 and 396/375.
