Your rootin' paid off! I have smoten the evil Steve and his Voodoo curse! I have trumpicated the slanderous "Good luck, Dave. I'm sure it'll go well" texts from the Wojinator! Yes, despite these uncoothy and unsupportive shenanigans, I'm happy to report......

SHE'S RUNNING PERFECTLY!!! And tomorrow will be a video of the first time she's moved under her own power since 1978. I'd do it today but after checking things over, forget that I didn't have transmission crossmember bolts and there's just two loosely installed and not bolted down, so based on my experience with this car, I'll wait until I get those bolts installed!

So what did it? I decided on trying one last thing and that was to install a Pertronix II, matching coil, and new plugs. Fired right up, running smoothly, and most importantly, its fired up about 10 times today after heating up and cooling down. I think it's fixed!

More to come tomorrow and although I joke, I appreciate everyone's input. Thank you all!! There were several issues here and I'll recap tomorrow since several of you helped on this. But for now, it's time for a Killian's Irish Red, or twelve, to celebrate!

Woohooo!!
Dave
