Doc.
LOL...Was the orig. engine when I sold it to him. Non orig. trans or rear but has a BE rear in it. Kevin Dewitte owned it years ago and can attest to the engine.

Seller is not really informed on this type of car, not being able to find the vin on the rear is a example.

This is a killer COPO if someone wants a good car.

Was this car restored in Michigan by Kevin? I think I remember seeing it in the shop when it was being restored. Would have been in the mid 90’s. Seems like I heard the car went to Virginia when Kevin sold it?

If this is the same car, it was restored for Kevin Sims at Nyle's shop in Ionia,MI. Nyle did at least two Berger Copo Camaro's for Kevin. Kevin lived in Virginia.

Do you remember about what year it was.

The one I was thinking of was in the early, mid 1990's. It was also a blue car, but almost thinking it had white interior?? That car was done by Autoform Development in Holland and was likewise a Berger car. I was thinking it was Kevin that owned it, but maybe not??

Pro Body in Holland restored a LeMans Blue/white interior Berger Copo for Daryl TerHaar in the early 90's.
I'm not sure which Kevin you refer to and I don't know if DeWitte ever owned it,but Sims might have at one time. Back then he was trying to buy all the Berger cars he could find, including mine, but we never agreed on a price. Plus, I was having too much fun racing it at the time.

Yeah, that's the one I remember, looked a lot like the one in this thread, but with white interior. Pro Body did my COPO right after the blue Berger car.
