When I was in high school, a buddy and I rebuilt (well, rings, rod bearings, and sent the heads out) his 390 4V engine with it in the car. It ran fine, but what a PITA. I remember using a universal socket on a few head bolts with a torque wrench. What a couple of morons (yeah, none of you guys ever did anything stupid in high school). Stayed together with no leaks long enough to sell it.
