For 1969, there'd be Y2 pale yellow or Y3 cream (don't remember their names), but I think it's white.

Yes, Y2. That's what I was thinking of. Agree that it looks white but that Y2 in old photos looks white.

It was Y2 yellow. He bought it from his cousin, who bought it new. The cousin was stationed in Germany while in the service so he sold it to my Stepdad for $1,000 in 1971. What a deal! he told me that his parents held their breath the entire time he had that car. lol. I can imagine as my Stepdad has told me many stories of he and his buddies racing around McAlester, Ok. back then. He sold it in 1973-74 for $1,400 and bought a Torino GT. |
