Wanted to see if they recorded the CE/CT Stamp number and cross-referenced it to the car's VIN. My understanding (having viewed limited replacement PoPs) is that they were issued to a second owner within factory warranty period, on payment of a warranty transfer fee - there is wording to this effect on warranty protection plan wallets - or if the original was lost, but replacements did not contain all of the data stamped on the original PoP.

Is this any help? Issued to second owner of a '69 Chevelle SS in '71 when a CE block was installed.
