I would have much rather had it before all of the drive train swap. The 402, 4 speed and 3.31 would have been much better.

my monte that jason is redoing is gonna be 496 6 speed 3:73 it should be pretty torquey.

He could move it over to me for 15k. It would look good with some Torque Thrusts on it.
He must be hittin' that pipe if he thinks that is a 50k car. |

how rare are the 4 speed montes? ive got whats left of one that's been in my salvage cars for around 20 years.

According to the first gen Monte Carlo website 589 were built with the 402/4 speed combo in 1970. With special paint in Hugger Orange that's a holy grail Monte Carlo IMO. In 1971 there were only 80 402/4 speeds built!

The numbers I have are 589 402 and 839 SB 4 speed cars built in 70.

Getting hard to watch this one being relisted again and again...someone please buy it and enjoy it already. I'm thinking this is a car that would do extremely well at Barrett Jackson...seriously, the restomods are bringing more $$ than I've ever seen in my lifetime.
