Framification has commenced! With it being about a billion degrees outside, I've delayed bodywork for a month since we all know August is way cooler than July in Texas.
Well, ok, maybe not.
But I decided that since I finally cleaned up the shop, let me assemble the chassis with some shiney new parts! Disk brakes from CPP, rebuilt king pins on the donor front axle, and new correct-arc- in- the- right- direction leaf springs, along with proper factory finishes all make this chassis Framified!
I also started into the 289 with cleaning up the dirty valvetrain and getting the first coat of Ford blue on it. Next week I'll be assembling the front end of the motor with some polished parts and pieces that proliferate pizzazz posthumously!
