I bought a little old lady 69 Camaro with 307/glide about 20 years ago and was going to COPO clone it (427 and TH 400 still in garage). It runs and drives so well (10K original miles) that I couldn't modify it. It gets a ton of attention on the road and drives like a new car. There's my suggestion to you. Good luck with the decision. You can't always be grinding through the gears and some good old fashion cruising is still fun. FWIW.

I am leaning towards finishing the 6 since I have the powertrain and brakes already.
Charlie says to go with the better body..I am in NJ all the bodies are bad. As far as the little old lady cruiser I have one of them too. |

AC is a deal breaker for us, meaning if it has it, I don't want it
I don't enjoy the extra clutter that comes with it.I'm with Charlie, I'd use the car that has the better sheet metal. The drivetrain is the easy stuff to swap and make the car what you want. |
