I fully understand the effort. I wish I had the means to take it to this level.
I inquired as I wasn't sure if judges were now using borescopes etc to internally inspect an engine for originality. Good luck with your restoration. Are you going just NOS or taking it to the "assembly line" correct level? There are parts they installed at the line (oil filter, Spark plugs) that were not even available at the parts counter if you went and bought them the same day you picked up your new car!
