We got a little sidetracked when Ben's 2001 Trans Am decided to hydro lock after a freak set of circumstances (car only has 65k miles and it occurred on startup, not over revving...), and sent rod #6 right through the side of the block. We just brought that home 2 nights ago, he learned a lot on that project too!!!

Might as well install a shift kit (muuuuch more involved versus the ole TH350's!!!), a trans cooler, new flywheel and a new torque converter (3600 RPM stall...
 but, he's learning what it's like to drive that on the street!  ) Upgraded to a hi perf fuel pump, 42# injectors, new pump wiring, etc.... my bank account feels like it went on forever... But, that smile after it was tuned and hit 'the number' on the dyno pull.... priceless!
