On the vertical face of the side of the block down by the oil pan rail on the passenger side, half way down the block. Its on a machined out three inch by one inch section.

I have never seen any 440 block without a VIN pad....unless it's early....like maybe a '66-'68. Before they were stamping on the top rear of the block, near where the trans mates to the engine.
