This is why it's important to have a place where this is discussed. Once you have people like Hot Rod Magazine reaffirming Nichols claims, it sets the narrative as it being a real non-converted car.
The folks with the paperwork (Emme, Dernoshek) HAVE NOT publicly endorsed this car as an sYc, or have even noted it was on the list for conversion. Nichols is attempting erase all negativity associated with this car by blocking everyone who disputes his claims. Is Vince on this site? It would be great to hear what he has to say. |

I agree, but how many people really know of this site, or any other for that matter. Most of us geezers, including myself, don't participate in social media much at all. Matter of fact I had never even heard of this site until just recently a friend of mine (a member here) told me about it, and I've been collecting muscle cars for 30-something years. My father for more than 50 years and he doesn't care about websites. Just goes to show that there are tons of collectors out there that still don't spend much time on a computer, and I'm one of them. But you can bet most all of them subscribe to one or more car magazines :shrug:
