Ive said this before, and I know its not a popular view, but
I would rather have a "Reproduction" body (or rebody) and original drivetrain than a 454 made to look like a 427 (reproduction if you will) non original motor in a original body car. Within certain circumstances anyway. I mean if you replace 90% of a car with new metal and the motor non original, other than the VIN how is that the same car? Of course, I say that and a while back I found my original high school car in a junkyard: ![]() ![]() and I went ahead and put 20k in new metal in a 307 car. But it was the first car I kissed a girl in and first car that I owned and bought myself, at 16. ![]() Basically the tulips and the rear package tray are the only original parts on the car. Conflicted I am.... LoL ![]() /Rich
