For rough paint like the Chevelle had the steps that I take
Wash Clay Bar Ultra Cut Compound Cleaner Polish Show Car Glaze Wax Some of these steps may be redundant like clay barring then compounding, but I just like to get as many impurities off the paint with the clay bar before the buffing wheel spins on the paint. I am sure more experienced guys here can chime in on a better process seeing that I am just a garage jockey ![]() On better paint I have just clay barred and went to the cleaner polish (83) then to show car glaze (7) and had really nice results.
