On the same topic... Why do some of these 309 master cylinders have a deep hole on the back, and some just a shallow dimple?

----I just sent out a BA cylinder to be rebuilt and the rebuilder called me up and asked which one was on the car as I told him I was replacing an incorrect one. I looked and it was the deep hole. He claimed it was a random thing, but I'm not sure that's correct.......Bill S
