I was feeling pretty down Thursday night when I got to the BBQ late due to a wreck on the parkway and missed out on the food, and then on Friday when I was standing in the trailer watching the rain fall, but my mood changed to the other extreme on Friday night when my name was drawn for the gift certificates and the crate engine. A big thanks goes to Bob McClurg for the work that he did rounding up the engine and other prizes, and Doug and all of the others (sorry, I'm still trying to learn names) that worked hard to put the whole event on. Maybe I can sort out the problems with my car and make some good runs next year.

Well fella's ... I have to say this did not feel like a business trip to me. I had an absolutely amazing time. To meet a group of people and to just be able to blend in and talk and laugh like we have known each other for years made me feel completely at home. The hospitality that everyone showed was just mind blowing. Congrats to Freddy for taking home the crate engine and a handful of gift certificates. . . Thank you to Doug, Ken. S, Dennis, Jaime, Rusty and yes even Andy and Howie lol for making me feel like one of the boys. It was a time to remember.
