Well Sid has 3 Stanley Cup wins and 2 Olympic golds.Does he rank up there with Mario?

Sid's awesome - had he been healthy, the Hawks and Kings might have fewer Cups today. Though math-wise, Mario is maybe the last "superstar" the NHL has seen. The game was higher scoring in Mario's day, but check-out how far he was ahead of the next guy in points during his peak years. The only player w/a bigger gap over the pack was Wayne, in his day, when he was right around 70 pts. ahead of the 2nd leading scorer - and for several seasons in succession. "Handicap" Orr, as a d-man, and those three are in their own zip codes in terms of mathematical dominance.

Separately, don't see how Malkin didn't find a spot on the NHL's recent "Top 100" list ...
