Justed looked a my 03d 1970 l78 nova 5400 original miles it has the curved bracket.????I am almost a 100 percent sure its the one it left the factory with. thoughts

Because your Nova was built later then the limited production 1970 L78 Chevelle,that would be correct John.
Some of the early assembled LS-6 Chevelles,which didn't start seeing production till late Nov/Dec.1969,got this straight bracket too I believe.
The majority of LS-6's got the later issued curved bracket,and an L-78 equipped Nova built around that same March '70 time line as yours.
