Check the SSDI. Social security death index, go to Ancestry.com, type in the persons name, and if comes back with additional info, then that person is now an ancestor. No info, they might still be with us.

Thanks you guys for all of the feedback. I have gotten as far as his name is indeed Steve and he has stopped posting on a lot of the forums as late as 09' however he just had a ad on a corvette forum as late as November of last year with a phone #. Funny thing is I called the phone number and the lady that answered the phone said that she had the phone # for a few years and that she believed that the # used to belong to him at one time cause she was getting calls, however when I went back to the ad a few days ago, the ad was removed???? so... I'am stumped at this point. I wish I had a last name to go on.
