I can still see Jan driving around Hinsdale, top down, hair blowing in the wind....Ah yes, golden memories! Do you remember when we took all the mid-years out to Matthiessen State Park, near Starved Rock. It was You and Jan, Birdie and I, Nicholson and Paulette, and Tolars and his wife. Good times and great memories!!

----I bring this to the top only to bring up the Jake (RIP) and Birdie Dykstra connection that the 4 of us had. What a great period of Jan and my life that was. Dave and Jake II were both (height wise) about semi-chest high. Never had kids, but would have welcomed a couple like the two of them.....Bill S
