Thanks, I am still trying to find some more history on the Camaro and it will take some time to locate all the correct parts. But I will keep you all posted on the progress.

This car is for sale again, $119,900 from a dealer in Vegas. Neat car for sure.
Jamie, how's your Camaro coming along? Link to 1970 Yenko Deuce

I think that car has been for sale for a while. It is a good car.
On the subject of my Camaro... I realized I was not going to be able to start on the restoration for a while and I just could not look at the purple paint any longer! So I found a set of vintage Cragars and did a quick patina paint job on it in the original Lemans Blue. Since this is a vinyl top car I had a very good friend help me do a lace job on the roof. That was fun. I distressed the stripes and emblems. Loaded it up and it ran 12.50s at the Supercar Reunion. I have really enjoyed the car just like it is. Still pretty rough but this is probably the most fun I will ever have with it. I tried to upload a few pics but the files are too big. If anyone wants to see them and is willing to help I would appreciate it. Jamie |
