So the update for today for Holly...we haven't had a fever, except for early this am. Also, nothing has grown in the blood cultures that were taken. Also, nothing grew from the peritoneal fluid that was taken. They are pretty sure that it has remained a topical staph infection at the peritoneal port site and has not gone inside the belly area. We have been moved to the 4th floor (cardiac) due to her being a heart transplant. The heart transplant docs will take "lead" from here on...in her care. More updates tomorrow...
