Whole lotta flags.
And whenever I sell a bazillion dollar car, I always put it on craigslist. Who needs Mecum or BarrettJackson ![]() ![]() ![]() seller: I am contemplating selling the LAST known 1971 Hemi Cuda Convertible. This is the REAL DEAL, a real "R" code Hemi Cuda Vert. There are only a handful in existence, and I have been hiding this car for 25 years. Too much time has passed and I have accepted the fact that I will never do anything with it. The price is $1,000,000 USD (yes one million dollars). These RARE cars sell at auction for $3-4 million, and will only cost only $100k to restore. A steal at one million. Yes, it has the original numbers matching 426 Hemi, Auto Trans, Dana 60 rear. I am NOT posting my phone number for a reason. Email only. Best of luck. do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers post id: 4893923262 |

And that's assuming that none of the big players in the hobby had any inkling it existed in the first place. It's not like the thing has been sitting in a treeline in Nebraska or a corn crib in Montana somewhere. I've heard stories of "other" HemiCuda 'verts through the years; surely somebody besides the owner knows something about this one if it's legit. Or maybe I'm too cynical... |

Those of us who follow these cars know who the players are and they all know each other. Even the one that was recently sold to a somewhat "new" buyer was handled by one of the known long time E-body experts. My favorite part; I am NOT posting my phone number for a reason, but some of you in the industry know who I am. Just my unsolicited opinion, for whatever that is worth!
