I have the correct dated coded 427 that came with the car, but can't claim with 100 percent certainty it was the one the car came with from the dealer and it has been decked, so no numbers to see. Since the trans carries the partial VIN and both it and the rear match the POP, I am 100 percent certain they are original to the car which is why I only mentioned they were original. Since it was a dealer installed 427 engine, I don't think whether the engine I have is original or not would really affect the value.

We're glad Charlie gave us the opportunity to work on this car. It's a very cool piece with a great history. And it does run REALLY well.
