Default Re: Happy Birthday JasonL78

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. I had a good day; I started off by spending a little time on a member’s car, Leaches or (Barry Volkerts) 1965 L79. The driveline is now ready to be installed in the car. We are just waiting for the firewall insulation so I can get the heater box back into the car, then the inner fender and control arms. Once these are in I can set the motor in the car. This car has been sitting for more than 25 years with no motor. It’s about time for this awesome car to have a heart beat again. I finished the night off with a family dinner and birthday cake.
The engine bay all cleaned and painted.

The new heartbeat.

I guess we can call this my birthday present to myself. I bought this 55 Chevrolet 210 earlier this week. It’s funny how your next project just finds you. I wasn’t really looking but I couldn’t pass up the deal. An old drag car with the inner fender wells cut out for headers.
