I told John to try and get Stan to go to the auction and talk about the car.Tiemann restored it as it was raced by Stan.Hope it does well John has some great projects waiting in the wings.Tom

It bid to $325,000 last January, and did not sell. I would guess anything over $250,000 now would lift the reserve.
A 1963 421SD LeMans Coupe and 1963 421SD Tempest Wagon sold as a pair for $925,000 back in 2007 before the market crashed, so I think around $250,000 would buy the Stan Long Tempest.

I think he has about $325,000 into the car with a little over $200K purchase price on Ebay plus about $100K restoration cost. Might take more than $250K to get this one.
