I just acquired a set of front end parts that I cross referenced to being for a 70-72 chevelle.
(spindles, rotors, control arms, springs, outer tie rod to outer tie rod, calipers etc etc..) I was going to re-market them on CL but have a friend w/ a 66 Chevelle who is interested...if they will fit (it would give him a great deal). Anyone know if they interchange? Thanks, -Mark

No, they will not..... 1971-72 front control arms have oval bushings.

Good info! Thx for the response Dan. I should correct myself in saying that I confirmed them for a '70 Chevelle (calipers w/ Delco numbers).
Do you happen to know if the '70 parts interchange w/ the 66/67's though? A-arms & steering gear (tie rods/center link etc)?

To my knowledge none of the parts interchange.

71 72 tie rods are a larger diameter, if interchanged complete sets (2 tie rods and adjustment sleeve) will fit however they are not correct. I've got 6 or 8 NOS Saginaw inners...

The spindles will fit. They are the same ball joint.
