what a great find! can't believe the orange paint on the manifolds still. I would think most of that would have been burnt off if its breathing a healthy 425hp. That car must be running rich (and thus cool and a very good thing).

That is an amazing car and congralutions on your purchase. I work in Richmond VA and live just 15 miles south. I am trying to jog my memory and remember if I have ever seen this car before. The name Nauman rings a bell but I just haven't put it together yet, but you may have already talked to him. You probably know that Hechler Chevrolet sold some great cars back in the day. The yellow ZL1 69 Corvette that Wayne Walker found came from Hechler. I think they also had a 69 ZL1 Camaro as well. It's kind of cool that your original owner lived on "cool lane". Very fitting for this car. I would like to call you and talk to you about a 67 that I have and get your opinion about a few things if you don't mind. I got your Ph# from your for sale ad on the bike.
