These are early production '65's (likely first week of August 1964) and have been purported to be factory lightweights, built using thin steel sheetmetal:

Sorry about the double post back there; my computer is being a bit balky.
![]() ![]() Dad is the one that adapted this Olds fuel injection intake onto a Pontiac engine for Dick Jesse's '65 altered wheelbase car. They were probably made in the Chevrolet Die Room at Chevy Flint Manufacturing.
