I know how you feel, M22, do the same myself. Saves all that washing up when going to the Head. How do you tell a Pilot from a Mechanic in the Head??? The Mech. washes before he pees... The Pilot washes after... Dicky

Dicky, you tryin' to make me pee mt pant's
One time I was in the head and after I was finished, an Airman said, hay, aren't you going to wash your hands ? And I said, no, in the Navy they tought us not to pee on our hands. After 40 some years of grubbing around cars and planes it finally dawned on me that the glove thing was a good idea, but most of the time I still don't use them. It was a blast beating on the cars on Friday, I made a couple passes with my little 7" Hurst slicks and ran a new best of 13.45 @ 105. So then, A person that will go unamed thought it would be a good idea to try a set of real slicks...So, I did the burn out, staged, and launched @ 4000, traction was great, car never even move an inch, probably a good thing. If your going to break an axle, no sense in doing it halfway down the track. I will post some pic's of my broken junk soon. That car of Phils will be crazy after some 3.73's are installed. Thanks again Doug for being a great host, and always nice to see Sam. Glad you like the cap too. Now I can tell everyone I helped restore your Deuce |
