The L78 wasn't a common engine as compared to the regular 307, 327 and 350s.
That meant that they produced a batch of L78s and then they got stored until a car on the line needed one. So in some cases the production date of the engine could be a month or even more before the date of the car. Post it in Team Camaros Tag section or on CRG. Jan
