Default Re: Wheel question

-----Corvettes 15/7 wheel had the extra inch added to the outside and had a deeper 69 style trim ring. These Monte Carlo wheels are cool on a mid-year Corvette because the inch is added to the inside, and use the stock 67 narrower trim ring. They look for all the world like a stock rally wheel except for the added inch. I have seen several of the vaunted NCRS judges completely miss this subtle day-two mod.....Bill S

Yeah, I had a '68 Corvette. I put some 8" wheels on it for a while, but went back to the 7"s when I put the BFGs on it. Easy to tell between the 8"s & 7"s, .......... big gap between the inside edge of the trim ring and the wheel center on an 8"; ..... snug fit on the 7".
