After market axles

Around my place I always saw Strange axles. At the strip and around town. Most conversations about axles usually involved Strange. Like most speed parts I think its a regional thing. If the top racers or local speed shop decides on a specific brand, you will see it dominate the area. That goes without saying on things like wheels and gauges.

If you go with an aftermarket axle you need the correct era decal if they offered one. I called Strange and asked about thier decals and how they changed over the years and they really didn't have an answer over the phone but did send the new catalog which had a great page dedicated to the past logos they used. This was great because the strange axles in my car are probably from the early 70's and the logo on my axle ends is a good clue.
