Someone had to point this out to me because, logically, I used to assume they were the same color.
However, I must take issue with you saying Olds took cues from Chevrolet. Rather, all the brands shared most of the colors in their palette, and each brand was allowed to have a certain number of exclusive colors (for example, Shadow Gray for Chevy, Verdoro Green for Pontiac). These colors were not optional on the W-Machines but, rather, for any Olds A-body. |
