Most lighting manufacturers will help you calculate the necessary lumens based on the square footage and the height of the fixtures. If done correctly, it will provide even shadowless lighting in the space. It worked out great in my 60 x 40 with vaulted ceilings. It's worth the time to calculate. It took maybe an hour. JMO, Ed
