----Albert,,,As far as overbores on 512 blocks go,,,not all 512 blocks are created the same. Some were able to take a .100 overbore easier than others. A good HP engine builder would probably be able to help you. I know, for example, that the 512 I ran in Red Alert was a 1973 date code and my engine builder (Jimmy Reid in Massachusetts) told me that it was a particularly good casting.......Bill S
