Some of these you may have seen before...

More Anaheim Convention Center...this car was a weird shade of green...





High school buddy Rob's split window bug (I remember he scored the tail lights out of a warehouse in Mexico...LOL). He sold this and built a flip front end 56 ford truck...that ended up in a bunch of magazines,



This was owned by a local auto shop ...and was used as advertising




The Van WIlgen VW...actually one of 4. Gene (who did the body work on my Nova and collected BMW Isettas way back then) built a bug for each of his kids when they graduated high school. This one was built start to finish in about 1 month. He added the split window to the back, envelope chopped the roof, made it right hand drive and it won Bug o rama at OCIR. This picture was it's debut to any show. Notice the VW cutouts in the turn signal area...before billet stuff was popular [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img]

Buddy's Firebird...was one of the cleanest street driven cars around!
