Depends on ride height. My all-original '69Z (including springs) sits a little lower than most of the restored cars you see out there; it had 235/60-15 BFG T/A's on original YH rims when I bought it, and I had occasional (loud) rubbing at 10 and 2 o'clock on the wheel opening moldings at full steering lock.
I replaced them later with 215/65-15 T/A's, and have had no rubbing since.
