I have used both the cast blast and the Eastwood product...they both work fine. You have to make sure you blast the parts well and then clean them with solvent prior to painting. I get good results by first using a couple of light coats of primer and then finish with the phosphate or cast paint. Both products dry quickly and hold up well....for a high end resto plating would obviously be the way to go. The Eastwood paint is a little darker than the cast blast.
