Welcome to the site Paul. I maintain a dbase with a few thousand 58-64 Chevys. Send me a pm with the full VIN and I'll see if it ever crossed my path. Since I'm in NJ, the odds are more in your favor.
The VIN prefix indicates the car was originally a 6cyl.
