Default Re: Hop Stop Bars?

------Mark is correct, although with an original set-up there actually is no intersection point as the short and long control arms aim away from each other. I have been told that for best launch and as little tire hop as possible the control arms should have an imaginary meeting point about 4 or 5 feet in front of the drivers seat.
------Tom,,,"Red Alert" never had those bars until I put them on in 1990, so they may not be one of the oldest sets in the universe. I can remember drilling the holes! They work like crazy though, as "Red Alert" has absolutely none of the dreaded "tire hop". The launch is something someone just has to see!!!......Bill S
