The resto is well underway. I do have a question for you gurus though. The motor/trans that I'm using can be seen below - question - is the comp plus shifter going to interfere with an original '67 Camaro console?
Also - better chack to see if any of these parts "belong" in any member's cars before I install them in this car. #272 block (2 bolt "JU" with partial viv #161 at the filter bowl). Trans #010 with vin 6Z117134, build date P1130. ![]() ![]() |

nope thats the one, only deal is and I dont see it on yours the bottom bolt on some let it rotate front to back if that makes sense, its nice as it lets you center the shifter in the slider on the console as sometimes when getting 1st or 3rd you can bottom out in the slider and start to chip the chrome on the shifter and the console insert and also helps to get it where it fits you...just right for that 1-2 grab
