Bill, it did stop in Phoenix quite a few years ago originating out of So-Cal
They stopped around 3 o'clock at Firebird Raceway and about 110 degrees, afterwords the survivors said no more "Phoenix" in late June. Particapants and cars had major meltdowns....it was a disaster.
